Krabi is the famous food district of Thailand. The street food culture of Thailand is well accentuated in Krabi’s cuisine market.  Street food has a special place in South Asian culture and Krabi contributes to it fairly. The town offers a variety of exotic foods in the center as well as across its beaches. Affordable, convenient and quick.

Krabi’s locals are great with flavors. The foods are infused with Thai spices and herbs. Krabi’s food market can be classified into three main categories. The local markets move around the city as makeshift markets. The venues of these markets moves around the city selling fresh produce of fruits and vegetables, meat, fish, etc. Local markets are held in villages and low income areas of the city and offer products at low prices.

The night markets are markets are mainly food kiosks on one side of the streets and commence around evening after sun down. The food kiosks offer foods made with quick recipes. The kiosks offer soups, fish, chicken, rice, exotic curries and salads. The true taste of Thai food is found on these kiosks.

Over time, the vendors have increased their rates per serving, yet food on these stalls is still cheap and delicious. The night markets operate in two shifts. One is early evening and the next late night. The night time food service is more detailed with plastic tables and chairs for customers to have a brief enjoyable experience. There is also music and dance arrangement to add more color and life.
